Casa di Santa Brigida in Piazza Farnese, a stonesthrow from Campo dei Fiori and in the very heart of Rome, is the mother house for the Bridgettine nuns, Modern day Romans themselves delight in these quarters of the city and like to spend their evenings in the small restaurants and bars of the neighbourhood.

The rooms are of a high standard, beautiful and well furnished, all with showers/WC. There are a variety of room sizes from small to complete suites. There is a library and several salons for meetings or gatherings. At the front of the house is the entrance to St Birgitta’s Chapel which is open to guests and the general public. St Katharina’s Chapel in the basement of the house is at the disposal of the Swedish Lutheran Church, where every Thursday at 7 p.m. mass is celebrated and on Sundays at 11.15 a.m.

Casa di Santa Brigida has a marvellous roof terrace where the setting sun can be seen as it sinks between the rooftops of Rome.
